Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking ambitious students for the Summer 2027 Intern - Corporate Environmental and Sustainability (EHS) program. You will join the Corporate EHS&S team in Pittsburgh, participate in a 12-week program, and tackle real-world challenges through impactful assignments.

You will support environmental compliance, analyze data, and help drive waste, water, air toxics, and biodiversity improvements. A relocation stipend may apply for eligible candidates located far from site.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program with expected graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
• Demonstrated internship, work, or research participation experience.
• Strong data analysis, internet research, and business case development skills.
• Involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity (campus orgs, sports, volunteerism).
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate environmental compliance and sustainability strategists for manufacturing operations.
• Analyze data, identify improvements in waste, water, air toxics, climate resiliency, biodiversity.
• Share best practices and help organize data and daily environmental tasks.
• Inspire staff by presenting business cases for sustainability improvements.
• Contribute to an impact project on circular economy, environmental reporting, or efficiency.
