Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. invites students to join its Ethics & Compliance internship for Summer 2027 in Pittsburgh, PA. The program runs for 12 weeks within a hybrid schedule that includes remote work capability and a housing stipend for students nationwide.

Interns will work on real-world projects to strengthen the E&C program and gain exposure to corporate compliance functions. You will support policy updates, awareness efforts, and core compliance processes, while collaborating across functions

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited bachelor's program with an interest in pre-law.
• Anticipated graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Support projects that strengthen Howmet’s Ethics & Compliance program.
• Gain hands-on experience with policy updates, trainings, and compliance processes.
• Contribute to investigations, risk management, and third-party reviews.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, IT, Internal Audit, and Finance to mitigate risks.

Your education is just the beginning – you’ll become an active member of ourEthics & Compliance (E&C)team located inPittsburgh, PA. During our12-weekinternship program, you’ll tackle real-world challenges through impactful assignments, and work alongside our industry changemakers.

The Ethics & Compliance Intern will support projects that help strengthen Howmet’s E&C program and the tools employees rely on to understand our standards. You’ll gain hands ‑ on experience by contributing to policy updates, awareness efforts, and core compliance processes. This role offers practical skill ‑ building and a dynamic introduction to how a corporate E&C function operates, making it a great introduction to the world of compliance and ethical business practices.

Intern Impact Project:As an Ethics & Compliance intern, you may take part in a wide range of initiatives that help strengthen how employees understand and navigate our compliance expectations. Potential projects could include supporting work related to:

The company’s reporting hotline and investigations process,

Third ‑ party risk management,

Conflicts of interest,

Gifts, hospitality, and travel, and

Anti ‑ corruption and bribery

Assist with reviewing and updating policies and procedures

Identify opportunities to enhance training and communication materials

Qualifications

Your Education, Skills, and Experience:

Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program with an interest in pre ‑ law and an anticipated graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 or be currently enrolled in a JD program

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent

Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation

Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with other disciplines

Interested in understanding how corporate compliance functions operate

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized

Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
