Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group invites motivated undergraduate and graduate students in civil or environmental engineering to join our Fort Worth, Texas office for a summer internship. You will support our technical staff on a broad range of projects, gaining exposure to permitting, site infrastructure, and design software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors by summer 2026, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in civil or environmental engineering or

Qualifications

• Junior or senior standing by summer 2026.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction engineering, or similar major.
• Good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Support various groups focusing on solid waste, landfill gas, site infrastructure, and air compliance.
• Use Civil 3D to develop grading plans and assist in permit applications and technical reports.
• Prepare permit modifications and CQA reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
• Perform permitting and civil site design for transfer stations, material recycling facilities, and gas-to-energy plants.
• Conduct construction observation and documentation (field work; travel and weekends may be required).
• Analyze technical data and prepare technical reports.

Weaver Consultants Group is looking for undergraduate/graduate Civil and/or Environment Engineering majors to join our flourishing Fort Worth, Texas office!
