Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group in Fort Worth, TX, seeks Staff Engineer graduates to join our growing Fort Worth office. You will contribute to multidisciplinary projects alongside engineers, scientists, geologists, surveyors and admins. We value independence, initiative and clear communication.

Qualifications include ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and EIT eligibility within one year. Proficiency with Word/Excel and exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Civil or Environmental Engineering program is required.
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 1 year is required.

Responsibilities

Support multiple project managers in a wide variety of projects.
Development of detailed computer models to evaluate engineering performance across geotechnical and hydrological domains.
Preparation of permit applications, permit modifications, technical reports, and CQA reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
Permitting and civil site design for Transfer Stations, Material Recycling Facilities, and Gas-To-Energy Plants.
Construction observation and documentation (local travel; some overnight stays may be required).
Analyzing technical data and preparing technical reports.
Cost estimating for construction and life of site planning.

Staff Engineer – Fort Worth, Texas Weaver Consultants Group is looking for upcoming, or recent Civil or Environmental Engineering graduates to join our flourishing Fort Worth, Texas office! As an engineer with Weaver Consultants Group, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplined team with opportunities to substantively contribute to a broad variety of projects. We are seeking independent and highly self-motivated engineers to join our team!

The Requirements

Bachelors or Masters in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
EIT certification or have the ability to obtain certification within 1 year.

The Responsibilities

Development of detailed computer models to evaluate engineering performance such as slope stability; geotechnical settlement; regional hydrology; stream hydraulics; leachate generation; contaminant fate and transport; traffic flow and patterns.
Preparation of permit applications, permit modifications, technical reports, and CQA reports for federal, state, and local agencies.
Permitting and civil site design for Transfer Stations, Material Recycling Facilities, and Gas-To-Energy Plants.
Construction observation and documentation (field work, generally local, but some travel and overnight stays including weekends may be required).
Analyzing technical data and preparing technical reports.
Cost estimating for construction and life of site planning.
