Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree, certificate, or workforce program related to instrumentation or maintenance.
• Eligible for full-time employment by May 2028 or later.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced instrumentation technicians and gain hands-on experience supporting equipment reliability and plant operations.
• Assist with installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of process instrumentation and control systems.
• Learn permitting processes and daily responsibilities of instrumentation technicians in an industrial environment.
• Develop the ability to interpret loop drawings, instrument documentation, and P&IDs.
• Support commissioning, startup, testing, and reliability initiatives in instrumentation and process control.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers on projects and troubleshooting to maintain safe plant operations.

Education

Relevant degree program (Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, Automation & Robotics, HVAC, Electrician, or similar)
