Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc is seeking a Summer Intern - Human Resources to join our HR Team based in Kinston, NC for May 17th–August 6th, 2027. You will gain exposure to HR Operations, Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and more.

The program includes a dedicated project mentor, a project presentation with the executive team and CEO roundtable, and hands-on experience supporting PER and other initiatives on a growing site.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university degree program.
• HR major or HR-related degree preferred.
• Onsite in Kinston, NC for duration of Summer Internship.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication; well organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and administrative tasks.
• Create/maintain personnel, benefit, and electronic files.
• Prepare HR paperwork and PO/PR for HR processes.
• Data entry into ADP/SAP/LMS systems.
• Support employee questions and coordinate events and service awards.
