Job summary

Excellus BCBS invites students to join a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program. Interns participate in development workshops, work on meaningful projects, and are mentored by managers. Tracks span business and technical areas, with support for transitioning from school to corporate life.

Housing is not provided. Internship runs June–August, up to 40 hours per week, with presentations at the end and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Wellbeing Team to enhance programs for commercial customers.
• Support key strategic projects and work with a mentor.
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy.
