Job summary

Bunge is seeking engineering interns to join its Summer Work Term, spanning about 12 weeks, with potential 14–16 week co-ops at select locations. Starting hourly pay is $27.30, and interns will gain cross-functional exposure across plant operations, EHS, materials handling, and processing units.

This program emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and communication as you rotate through crush, refine, packaging, and grain elevator operations while relocating as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university.
• Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in standard PC applications.
• Standard internship hours 8 AM - 5 PM subject to modification as required by assignment and/or location.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Participate fully in the day-to-day operation of a Bunge facility. This will follow the program governance of 70/20/10 (70% hands on, 20% informal learning, 10% formal learning)
• Develop a thorough understanding of plant operations
• Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager
• Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes
• Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditionsAbility to communicate effectively with Bunge internal and external customers
