Job summary

Bunge invites upcoming engineers to join its Engineering Internship Program for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across operations, from EHS to Process Engineering, with cross-functional exposure and a solid foundation in operational processes.

Location will be determined based on business needs, with placement at crush/refine, packaging, or grain elevator facilities. Expect 12 weeks, some travel for training, and an 8:00–5:00 schedule during standard internship hours.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Agricultural Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls).
• Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in standard PC applications.
• Standard internship hours 8 AM – 5 PM subject to modification.

Responsibilities

• Participate fully in the day-to-day operation of a Bunge facility (70/20/10 governance).
• Develop a thorough understanding of plant operations.
• Respond to inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager.
• Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes.
• Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
