Job summary

Bunge is offering an Engineering Internship Program in the United States for students pursuing an engineering degree. You will gain hands-on experience across operations in crush, refine, packaging, and more, with cross-functional exposure and mentorship.

The internship lasts about 12 weeks during the summer, with relocation to assigned facility as needed. You will develop skills in plant operations, safety, and problem solving while traveling to different locations for training.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple Bunge locations for training and exposure.

Responsibilities

• Participate fully in the day-to-day operation of a Bunge facility. This will follow the program governance of 70/20/10 (70% hands on, 20% informal learning, 10% formal learning)
• Develop a thorough understanding of plant operations
• Respond to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager
• Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes
• Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditions and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
