Job summary

Vanguard is offering a paid Summer 2027 internship designed for high-potential students pursuing CFP certification and a career in financial planning. The program provides hands-on experience with Vanguard’s mission, investment philosophy, and client advisory services.

Successful completion can lead to full-time opportunities such as the Financial Advisor Development Program, with a rotational work-training emphasis and CFP certification support. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Current college junior (Undergraduate or graduate). GPA typically 3.2+ preferred.
• CFP Board-Registered program participation required.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the personal financial planning process.
• Observe Vanguard’s advice offering and interaction with clients.
• Receive mentorship and coaching from program leaders.
• Collaborate with teams and share knowledge with leaders and your cohort.
