Job summary

Vanguard’s College to Corporate Advice Internship Program is an immersive, hands-on experience for high-potential undergrads pursuing CFP certification and a career at Vanguard.

In Summer 2027, interns develop expertise in the personal financial planning process, observe Vanguard’s advice offerings, and receive dedicated mentorship from a department manager and program lead. This paid internship has a clear path toward full-time opportunities after completion.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree required with GPA 3.2+ preferred.
• Currently enrolled in CFP Board-Registered program.

Responsibilities

• Spend the summer developing your expertise of the personal financial planning process and enriching your knowledge of Vanguard’s business.
• Learn about Vanguard’s advice offering and how advisors interact with Personal Advisor Services clients.
• Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager for coaching and mentorship.
• Connect with a dedicated mentor to navigate the corporate environment and form professional relationships.
• Have the opportunity to share knowledge with leaders and your team.
