Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools seeks teachers for the 2026 Extended School Year program at Center Elementary School in Chelmsford, MA. These are part-time, four-week positions from July 6 to July 30, 2026 for preschool and elementary students with special education needs.

Responsibilities include instruction aligned to IEP goals in reading, written language and math; monitoring progress and writing ESY summaries; and planning individualized activities while supporting paraprofessionals.

Qualifications

• MA DESE certification for Moderate Special Education preferred.
• Candidates must be available to work all four weeks (July 6–July 30, 2026).
• Citizenship, residency or work visa may be required per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in reading, written language and math aligned to IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and write ESY performance summaries.
• Plan and maintain an instruction program individualized to students' IEP goals and objectives.
• Facilitate and support paraprofessionals assigned to preschool and elementary programs.
