Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for the Extended School Year program in Chelmsford, MA. The OT will travel between Center Elementary School and Chelmsford High School, providing ESY services 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, July 6 to August 6, 2026.

Responsibilities include delivering OT services to prevent regression, developing lessons aligned with IEP objectives, and documenting progress with end-of-session ESY summaries.

Qualifications

• Certification as an OTR or COTA is required.
• A degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Citizenship, residency or work authorization in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate OT services to students identified for ESY.
• Work with pre-K to high school students to prevent regression of skills.
• Prepare and instruct lessons based on IEP objectives.
• Monitor progress and write ESY summaries of performance at session end.
