Job summary

Chelmsford Public Schools is seeking part-time paraeducators for the Extended School Year Life Skills Program in 2026. Positions span elementary through high school, located at Center Elementary and Chelmsford High School, July 6 to August 6, 2026, Monday through Thursday, 7:45–12:15. Experience with students with disabilities and potential 1:1 support are required.

Salary is $20.36 per hour. Applicants must be available for all five weeks; status contingent on enrollment.

Qualifications

• Experience or training working with students with disabilities.
• Ability to work all 5 weeks of the program is preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Support teacher(s) in the classroom by taking direction and demonstrating flexibility with duties and responsibilities.
• May be required to support students 1:1.
• May be required to provide toileting support to some students.
