Job summary

Scituate Public School District is seeking two ESY Occupational Therapists for Summer 2026 to support Pre-K through 12th grade students. The OT will focus on fine motor and sensory goals and provide direct instruction to students with disabilities.

Responsibilities include planning evidence-based interventions, adapting materials, collecting progress data, communicating with parents and staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Massachusetts license as an Occupational Therapist required.
• Minimum of two years' successful experience as an OT.
• Expertise with specially designed instruction in occupational therapy.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement evidence-based interventions for individual students or groups based on needs.
• Adapt materials to help students access the curriculum.
• Address IEP goals in fine motor and sensory skills.
• Collect data and monitor progress; adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate with parents and school staff as needed.
• Take attendance for each class or session.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
