Qualifications

• Preference for preschool/early childhood experience in self-contained settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of positive behavioral supports.
• Experience with students with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorders.
• Background in sensory integration assessments and strategies.
• Master’s degree and state licensure required.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, instruction, assessment and tech integration.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices.
• Ability to collaborate with families, staff and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings for eligible students (IEPs, testing, conferences).
• Collaborate with staff and families to provide data-driven services.
• Provide direct OT intervention in multiple settings emphasizing least restrictive environment.
• Support use of assistive technology and adaptive strategies in school.
• Assess participation factors and environmental contexts affecting learning.
• Attend IEP/504 meetings and participate in decision making.
• Supervise OT assistants and fieldwork students.
• Develop and monitor IEPs for students with impairments.
