Job summary

Aquatech is seeking a full-time Equipment Selection Engineering Intern to join our Canonsburg, PA office for a summer internship. The role involves sizing and selecting water treatment equipment, preparing data sheets, and assisting with project execution.

The internship runs five days a week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for up to 90 days as a non-exempt position. Ideal candidates have engineering coursework in chemical, mechanical, or environmental disciplines and at least one year of related

Qualifications

• One (1) year’s experience in engineering or similar collegiate classes preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
• High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Sizing, selection, and preparation of data sheets for water treatment equipment such as instruments, pumps, valves, etc.
• Read, analyze, and interpret engineering documents including P&ID, PFD, and process calculations.
• Preparation of technical documentation
• Follow up with vendors
• Assist with proposal preparation
• Assist with project execution
• Release of engineering documents to the Document Control Department per department procedure
