Job summary

A local park district in Normantown is seeking a passionate Riding Instructor to create exciting equestrian experiences for riders of all ages during our summer camps. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of riding experience and be comfortable instructing various lesson types. Responsibilities include providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment and maintaining open communication with management and students. A free membership to our pool or fitness center is included as a perk.

Qualifications

• Five years of practical experience as a rider in various disciplines.
• Experience instructing ground, walk/trot, and beginning canter lessons.
• C.P.R., AED, and First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality riding lessons to participants.
• Ensure safety and proper procedures during lessons.
• Complete student lesson paperwork accurately.

Skills

Experience with horse riding
