Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age with successful completion of swimming skills test.
• Pursue YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor certification as well as CPR, First Aid, Oxygen, and Lifeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment that allows members and participants to learn to swim.
• Encourage and support students to provide an enjoyable aquatics experience.
• Evaluate swimming skills; complete progress reports for each session.
