Job summary

Qualifications

• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification required prior to start of camp.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry a minimum of 35 pounds.
• Complete all background checks required by the Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Provide vigilant pool supervision and perform rescues as needed.
• Teach group swim lessons to children of all ages and skill levels.
• Implement lesson plans and activities tailored to individual swimmer needs.
• Supervise camper groups with attention to behavior and safety.
• Communicate health and safety concerns promptly to the Aquatics Director.
• Support daily camp programming, including outdoor and indoor activities.
