Verdantas is seeking a driven environmental intern for the Summer 2027 Pave the Way Program at our Wilmington, Delaware location. This onsite, full-time internship offers hands-on exposure to environmental consulting projects, mentorship from a collaborative team, and a path toward a meaningful career in the natural sciences.

You’ll gain practical experience in problem-solving, design, and development while building a strong foundation for your future.

Competenze

Two years towards a degree in environmental science, engineering, geology or equivalent.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Fieldwork with occasional heavy lifting.
Strong writing and client communication skills.
Valid driver’s license required.
Internship or coop experience encouraged.
Experience in ArcGIS and AutoCAD preferred.
40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred.

Mansioni

Assist with fieldwork such as sampling and site inspections.
Research, collect, and enter data; interpret environmental datasets.
Assist in preparing environmental investigation designs and work plans.
Perform preliminary risk calculations and modeling.
Assist with environmental assessments to identify site conditions and compliance needs.
Prepare technical reports summarizing methods and findings.
Travel as required to support field activities.
