Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking an Intern, Environmental Scientist, Environmental Engineer, or Geologist to support office engineers and project managers. The 3-month full-time internship runs Spring 2027 and will be based at Princeton, NJ or Holicong, PA, offering hands-on field experience and teamwork with experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, or geoscience program (undergrad or grad).
• Candidate should be at least 2 years into their academic career.
• Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a field support role on construction projects including observation, soil/groundwater sampling, and density testing.
• Willingness to visit construction sites to assist in field activities.
• Assist with site characterization, subsurface investigation, and infrastructure projects.
• Assist in evaluating subsurface geotechnical and environmental data.
• Assist in geotechnical design/analysis and developing recommendations.
• Assist in running geotechnical testing on soil samples with laboratory staff.
• Complete a presentation at the end of the internship period.
• Other duties as assigned
