Job summary

Terracon invites applications for a 2027 Summer Intern in the Environmental Department, Site Investigation and Remediation. You will work with leaders in environmental consulting, gain hands-on field testing, sampling, data review, and report preparation while advancing technical skills and professional development.

You will start with safety training and join a cohort across the company, presenting outcomes to executives at summer’s end.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; pursuing BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biology or similar program.

Responsibilities

• Travel (day trips and/or overnight) as needed.
• Perform sampling or testing as directed.
• Transport equipment, specimens or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients or other offices, and provide physical assistance in equipment setup.
• Provide assistance to other field and/or office personnel.
• Assist professional staff on routine tasks.
• Be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.
