Job summary

Highmark Health offers the Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Internship, giving students hands-on exposure to enterprise risk management, governance, compliance, and strategic planning in a complex healthcare setting.

Interns collaborate with risk professionals and leaders to support risk reporting, data analysis, taxonomy development, and strategic initiatives that strengthen ERM and organizational resilience while developing core business skills.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise risk reporting and documentation.
• Research emerging risks and industry trends.
• Maintain risk-related data and reporting tools.
• Assist with risk assessments and taxonomy development.
• Prepare presentations and executive-facing materials.
• Participate in strategic projects across ERM & Governance.
