Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a CE Summer Enrichment Instructor (Non-Academic) for Community Education in Phoenix, AZ. This temporary, paid position offers $27.00 per hour via timesheets, with session dates from June 1–25, 2025 and up to 50 positions available. Location is TBD; starting date is June 1, 2026.

Clearances required. Responsibilities include monitoring students, communicating with teachers and parents, and upholding safety guidelines in a variety of settings.

Qualifications

• Adheres to safety practices and procedures.
• Basic math skills; reads and follows instructions.
• Ability to communicate with diverse groups and work as part of a team.
• Criminal Background Clearance and DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with teachers and/or parents to convey information.
• Monitors students in classrooms, playgrounds, field trips, and other areas to maintain safety and learning.
• Reports incidents to site personnel per safety guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Supports staff to maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Performs other related duties, including securing gates, as needed.
