Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District in Phoenix is seeking a Campus Support staff member to assist with safety, welfare and supervision of students across duties such as noon and after-school coverage, classroom assistance, and crosswalk monitoring.

The position is based at Whispering Wind Academy, 9 months, various hours per day, $15.15/hour, non-interim; dates 8/3/2026 - 5/27/2027. Reports to Building Administrator and supports teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to enforce rules and maintain a safe environment.
• Flexibility to work with students and staff in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Assists students to provide safe access to locations.
• Communicates safety policies to students, staff and visitors.
• Maintains equipment and supplies for safety.
• Monitors students in classrooms, playgrounds, and during transitions.
• Reports incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Responds to inquiries about campus security.
