Job summary

ICF is seeking a Summer Intern, Sales Associate for a 10-week program in Reston, VA or Arlington, VA. This entry-level internship offers hands-on experience in government consulting, proposal development, and sales strategy within the Energy, Environment and Infrastructure group.

The position can be hybrid from Reston or Arlington, with pay at $23 per hour. The role involves meeting support, drafting pitch decks, content creation, research on targets, updating the CRM, and collaborating with

Qualifications

By start date, at least 30 college-level credits in public policy, writing, government, business or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interest in government contracting and consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

Take detailed notes during meetings and share summaries/action items.
Draft and design pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and other materials.
Create and update marketing content including website posts and capability statements.
Conduct research on government/private targets, funding opportunities, and forecasts.
Monitor competitors and maintain CRM entries and pursuit status reports.
Collaborate with business development leads, proposal managers and experts.
Prepare documents for presentations and support special projects.
