Job summary

ICF is seeking a highly motivated Sales Intern to support the Business Development and Capture team within our Energy, Environment and Infrastructure group. This entry-level, 10-week internship offers hands-on experience in government contracting, proposal development, and sales strategy, with hybrid work from Reston or Arlington, VA, starting in June.

You will draft materials, conduct market research, maintain CRM entries, and collaborate with proposal managers and technical experts.

Qualifications

• By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours in public policy, writing, government, business or related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive and detail-oriented with strong time management

Responsibilities

• Take detailed meeting notes and share summaries and action items
• Assist in drafting pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies and other materials
• Create and update marketing and sales content for website and social media
• Research government and private-sector targets and funding opportunities
• Maintain CRM entries and update pursuit status reports
• Collaborate with business development leads, proposal managers, and experts
• Prepare documents and materials for presentations
