Job summary

General Motors offers an internship in creative digital sculpting within GM Design. You will collaborate with Design, Sculpting, and Engineering to build digital models of future automotive themes in a studio environment.

You will present work to leadership, gain exposure to industry leaders, and participate in cross-functional networking events. A portfolio submission is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Animation, Game Design, Transportation Design, Fine Arts, Sculpture, or Ceramics.
• Must be graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the summer months.

Responsibilities

• Develop a digital model of a future automotive theme with Design, Sculpting, and Engineering teams.
• Present finished models to Design and Sculpting leadership at midterm and final show events.
• Support general sculpting assignments within the studio.
