Dominium is offering a full-time, on-site Development Intern position in Dallas from June 8, 2027 to August 20, 2027. The intern will support analysts and developers across market analysis, financial modeling, and project documentation for affordable housing developments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Development team, due diligence, and construction administration, with opportunities to contribute to financing and tax credit processes in a mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• Interest in real estate development or finance; affordable housing preferred
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Conducts market research and analysis to evaluate demographic trends, comparable properties, rental rates, occupancy levels, and other factors affecting potential development opportunities
• Prepares and updates financial models, cash flow projections, and other analyses used to evaluate feasibility and financial performance of development projects
• Assists with evaluation of prospective acquisitions, including review and organization of financial, operational, market, and property information
• Compiles documentation and supporting materials for financing applications, tax credit applications, funding submissions, and other project-related requirements
• Prepares and maintains construction matrices, project schedules, development trackers, and other tools used to monitor project milestones and deliverables
• Reviews investment agreements, legal documents, due diligence materials, and other project documentation under the direction of Development team members
• Collaborates with Development team members and internal and external project partners to support project planning, construction administration, due diligence, and other development activities
• Maintains timely and regular attendance and performs other duties as assigned
