Summer Customer Service Representative - Louisville, KY

This position is 100% in office. The employee will work full time at a designated WesBanco location, primarily at the Stony Brook branch, with travel to other branches in Louisville, KY.

Market: Louisville Southern Indiana

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Summary:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) helps foster a positive work environment, providing ongoing recognition for exceptional performance. The CSR accepts and processes transactions accurately, provides excellent customer service, identifies sales opportunities, and handles account transactions. They determine the appropriate individual or line of business for sales and complex customer service issues.

Essential Functions
  • Perform customer transactions

  • Identify referral opportunities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Model the standards of the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge.
  • Accept and accurately process all financial transactions.
  • Manage the CSR cash drawer, following proper balancing and cash handling procedures.
  • Operate within security and audit procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and customer information.
  • Support customer needs by answering calls and performing additional duties to support the Banking Center's success.
  • Meet individual referral goals.
  • Determine the appropriate line of business for sales opportunities and follow up to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Complete outbound calls as needed to support sales and service.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
Other Skills and Requirements
  • Acquire and maintain proficiency in bank policies, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations, completing all compliance training timely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365 and other banking software.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and present information effectively.
  • Strong product knowledge for selling and promoting products.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Availability to work all hours of operation.
