Job summary

ARCO/Murray is offering a Summer 2027 Project Manager Intern opportunity for engineering students in Texas. You will assist Project Managers from kickoff to closeout, handling estimating, scheduling, design reviews, buyout, submittals, and site visits.

This internship provides weekly training, mentorship, and potential future full-time opportunities; compensation is hourly with overtime, plus a $5,000 post-graduation bonus and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an engineering bachelor’s or master’s program.
• GPA minimum 3.0; relevant coursework encouraged.
• Prior internship experience is a plus; extracurriculars helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating project value and proposals.
• Create working timelines for subcontractors to meet deadlines.
• Attend design meetings with owners and the team.
• Send bid instructions and evaluate proposals for subcontracts.
• Review shop drawings and submittals with the design team and subs.
• Support cost tracking, change orders, and pay applications.
• Visit job sites with the project manager to observe progress.
• Participate in weekly training sessions to learn the ARCO/Murray process.
