Job summary

Stevens Engineers & Constructors in Cleveland Operations is seeking a motivated Project Engineer Intern for a 2027 Summer Internship based at our Middleburg Heights office. The intern will assist the project team with controls, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors.

You will observe professionals, attend meetings, support bid preparation, maintain files, track RFIs and change orders, prepare reports, and assist with special projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with controls, billing scheduling, estimating, budgeting and subcontractor coordination.
• Observe and interact with owners, project team, subcontractors and vendors.
• Attend staff and departmental meetings.
• Assist estimators in bidding; gather information and compile bids.
• Set up and maintain electronic and hard-copy project files.
• Track change orders, RFIs, and submittal packages.
• Prepare correspondences, presentations, documents, manuals, reports.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual project reporting.
