Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Summer 2027 intern for the Construction Project Engineer role. You will assist the Project Team with coordinating information to execute, schedule, and bill projects, supporting organization, scheduling, budgeting, and field problem resolution.

You will work under the Project Manager, help with document control, prepare takeoffs, track deliveries, and assist with closeout and turnover activities across field locations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• Pursuing or completed degree in Construction or Engineering as listed above.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in project flow from inception to completion.
• Review contract/bid documents and assist with turnover.
• Assist with project document control, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence.
• Ensure documents are saved in the project document control system.
• Support scheduling and tracking of deliveries and manpower.
