Job summary

LEVI, RAY & SHOUP, INC. invites interested students for a 2027 summer internship in Compliance and/or Legal. The role supports the Compliance and Legal teams in adhering to internal policies, laws, and contractual requirements, with exposure to governance and regulatory obligations.

The internship is full-time, based at our headquarters in Springfield, Illinois, with potential temporary housing. Candidates should be available mid-May to mid-August 2027 for full-time work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Law, Business Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field.
• Completed at least two years of undergrad coursework or equivalent.
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaborate in a team.
• Permanent authorization to work in the USA (no visa sponsorships available).

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal/regulatory research to support decision-making.
• Assist with preparation of compliance reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support audits and risk assessments as needed.
• Participate in compliance training sessions and help develop training materials.
• Maintain accurate records and organize compliance documentation.
