LEVI, RAY & SHOUP, INC. invites interested students for a 2027 summer internship in Compliance and/or Legal. The role supports the Compliance and Legal teams in adhering to internal policies, laws, and contractual requirements, with exposure to governance and regulatory obligations.

The internship is full-time, based at our headquarters in Springfield, Illinois, with potential temporary housing. Candidates should be available mid-May to mid-August 2027 for full-time work.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Law, Business Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field.
• Completed at least two years of undergrad coursework or equivalent.
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaborate in a team.
• Permanent authorization to work in the USA (no visa sponsorships available).

Compliance Intern - Summer Internship Program

We are seeking Compliance and/or Legal students for our 2027 summer internship program. This intern will support the Compliance and Legal teams in ensuring that the organization adheres to internal policies, federal and state laws and regulations, and contractual requirements. This role provides exposure to compliance operations, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements while contributing to projects that strengthen the company's compliance framework.

We offer hands-on experience in a casual, yet professional work environment, making it an excellent place to learn and grow. Interns will be based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Illinois (temporary housing may be available). Applicants must be available for full-time work from mid-May to mid-August 2027.

Core Responsibilities

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, and pursuing a degree in Law, Business Administration, Political Science, Public Policy , or one year of professional working experience in a related field.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.


• Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of collaborating effectively as part of a team.

Organization Structure and Interfaces

The LRS Compliance team supports compliance operations for all LRS product lines enterprise wide. It is a centralized corporate function, coordinating and developing compliance programs related to data privacy, information security, AI, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and non-discrimination, anti-bribery and corruption, export, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance activities. The Compliance Team works closely with the Legal Team, and Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside both teams. Mentorship will be provided by both the Legal and Compliance Teams.

This is a temporary, full-time internship for summer 2027, with a pay rate of $18/hour. Internships have the potential to lead to permanent positions based on the future needs of the organization.
