Job summary

Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. in Springfield, IL is seeking a Sales Intern for the 2027 summer program. You will support the Software Sales team, assisting account executives and sales leadership while gaining exposure to the full enterprise sales process.

The internship runs mid-May to mid-August 2027 at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Illinois. Travel to territories and corresponding office is expected. Pay is $18/hour; housing may be available.

Qualifications

• Candidate should be pursuing a degree in Business, Professional Sales, Business Administration, Communications or have one year of professional work experience in a similar field.
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Having IT-related coursework or experience will make you a stronger candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and prospect research.
• Manage data within our CRM system.
• Assist with preparing presentations and proposals.
• Contributing to pipeline development activities.
