Job summary

Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking a Summer 2026 Communications Intern to join our dynamic Communications team at the Little Rock corporate HQ. This onsite, 10–12 week internship offers hands-on experience creating and delivering content that informs, engages, and inspires SPP’s internal and external audiences.

You’ll work full-time under the guidance of seasoned professionals, gaining exposure to digital content, branding, and stakeholder communications while supporting the mission to keep

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field.
• Must be entering senior year or have completed at least three years of undergraduate coursework by start of internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging written, visual, and digital content for website, intranet, social media, email, and presentations.
• Keep online presence current by reviewing content and coordinating with internal teams.
• Support surveys and audience research to measure communication effectiveness.
