Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn process-control software.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude; able to manage multiple small tasks under supervision.
• Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily monitoring of finishing processes: plating, powder coat, e-coat, and anodizing.
• Collect and organize process data for team review.
• Support root-cause investigations for out-of-spec conditions with guidance.
• Participate in small improvement projects, e.g., rinse cycles or fixture design.
• Maintain process documentation and update logs.
• Shadow cross-functional teams in maintenance, materials, and planning.
• Contribute to process capability studies: Cp/Cpk and simple charts.
• Present findings at intern roundtables or team meetings.
