Qualifications

Enrolled in an applicable Civil/Structural Engineering Technology program at an accredited school.
3.0 cumulative GPA for undergraduates; 3.2 for graduates.
18 credits or more toward program completion.
Authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
Registered as a full‑time student.

Responsibilities

Assist in recording on standard maps and records complex additions and retirements of electrical facilities and simple additions and retirements of civil amenities and structures within electric facilities as shown on construction and retirement orders.
Assist in ordering and distributing to various departments, prints prepared from standard maps and drawings.
Prepare finished civil drawings diagrams designed by others.
Revise existing civil drawings in accordance with as-built information.
Assist drafters and designers of a higher classification as needed.
Assist in ordering and distributing prepared prints.
Assist in field visits as needed.
