Job summary

CobbFendley is seeking Summer 2027 Interns and Graduate Engineers for our Houston office. The roles require current enrollment in civil or related programs and a Bachelor's degree for graduates, with FE/EIT considerations noted.

You will assist design tasks, prepare drawings, and collaborate with project teams in a hands-on environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, motivated learners, and able to travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Civil or other engineering program for internship.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program required for Graduate Engineer position.
• Plans to pursue E.I.T. certification and FE exam preferred for Graduate Engineer.
• Entry level experience in civil engineering design and plan production in Civil 3D for Graduate Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and engineering support to multiple employees within the organization.
• Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks for various projects.
• Perform civil engineering design, design calculations, analysis, and field visits.
• Prepare civil drawing packages, specifications, bill of materials, and estimates according to project scope.
