Job summary

CobbFendley in The Woodlands, TX seeks Summer 2027 Interns and Graduate Engineers to join our Woodlands office. The program supports onboarding, professional growth, and hands-on design experience.

Responsibilities include assisting Project Managers, performing civil design tasks, preparing drawings and estimates, and site visits. We value organization, learning mindset, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Civil or related engineering program for internship.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering for Graduate Engineer position.
• Plans to pursue E.I.T. certification preferred for Graduate Engineer.
• Entry-level experience in civil engineering design and Civil 3D production.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivated to learn in a dynamic environment with short deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and engineering support to multiple employees.
• Support Project Managers and Engineers with design tasks for projects.
• Perform civil engineering design, calculations, analysis, and field visits.
• Prepare civil drawing packages, specs, BOM, and estimates.
• Assist Project Manager in project engineering design and task management.
• Identify and resolve conflicts, ensuring compliance with policies and codes.
• Utilize multiple software solutions to maximize effectiveness.
• Travel to project sites and CobbFendley offices as required.
