Job summary

The Heritage Group's Heritage Research Group is seeking a graduate student for a summer internship in chemistry research. The role focuses on bench-scale R&D for new product development, scaling for manufacturing, and process optimization in road materials, specialty chemicals, and waste recycling projects.

Qualifications

• High-school completion and relevant chemistry or engineering degree milestones.
• Strong lab safety discipline and ability to work independently after training.
• Experience with chemical synthesis, materials analysis, and data reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bench-scale R&D for new product development and process optimization.
• Conduct sample preparation, syntheses, material screening, and analyses.
• Document testing activities in lab notebooks and report results to supervisor.
• Support catalyst screening, project direction, and parallel tasks as assigned.
