Job summary

Concordia College in Bemidji is seeking Seasonal Summer Workers to assist with custodial, grounds, painting, and light maintenance tasks across campus. Positions are hourly non-exempt and offer 20–40 hours per week.

The General Work Schedule varies by department, with shifts from May 1 through August 15. Applicants must be at least 16, able to lift and stand for long periods, and ready to work independently in a team environment. Background checks are required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, climb, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be dependable, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to read, write, and interpret written and verbal instructions, and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Custodial duties across campus buildings.
• Grounds maintenance and lawn care outdoors.
• Painting interior surfaces across campus.
• Moving campus furniture and setting up for events.
• Perform duties based on the assigned department.
