Job summary

True Friends is seeking a Summer Camp Communications & Storytelling team member to capture authentic moments, craft stories, and support marketing across camp locations. You’ll work hands-on in a nonprofit camp environment, building a portfolio in photography, video, and written storytelling.

Responsibilities include interviews, content creation for websites and social channels, and collaboration with the Marketing team. Housing and meals are provided on-site during employment.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in photography, video, writing, communications, marketing, or related field.
• Ability to tell compelling stories through photos, video, and written content.
• Interest in nonprofit marketing and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Capture photo and video content of campers, staff, and activities.
• Conduct interviews with campers, families, staff, volunteers, and partners.
• Develop written stories and content for websites, social media, and newsletters.
• Edit content into polished materials for public use.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on campaigns.
