Summer Camp Media Team: Photography, Videography, and Social Media PAID Internship!

Are you an outgoing, hardworking, and high-energy college student looking to expand your media skills and build your portfolio this summer? Camp Towanda, a premier 7-week co-ed sleep‑away camp, is seeking talented Photography, Videography, and Social Media Interns to join our dynamic Media Team.

About the Media Team

Camp Towanda’s Media Team operates as an in‑house production studio, responsible for:

  • Capturing daily photos of campers and activities, from candid and posed shots to sports photography.
  • Producing engaging social media content and podcasts.
  • Preserving the spirit, personality, and legacy of our 100+ year‑old camp.

Under the guidance of our Media Director, you’ll collaborate with a team to deliver impactful, creative content while enjoying the fun and excitement of camp life.

What to Expect

As a Media Team member, you’ll balance dual roles:

  • Media Creation: Capture and produce high‑quality visual and audio content to showcase the Camp Towanda experience.
  • Counselor Responsibilities: Live in a bunk with campers, sharing in their daily activities and providing mentorship and support.

Working at camp is fast‑paced and collaborative. Flexibility, creativity, and stamina are essential to thrive in this exciting environment.

Learning Objectives

This hands‑on internship offers the opportunity to:

  • Strengthen your skills across platforms such as photography, videography, social media, graphic design, and podcasting.
  • Gain leadership, teamwork, and communication experience in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Build a robust portfolio with real‑world projects and network with our Leadership Team, Alumni, and parent network.
  • Make a positive impact as a role model for children while enjoying a unique and rewarding summer.
Requirements
  • Available June through mid‑August.
  • At least one year of college completed.
  • Experience in photography and/or videography and editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects – varying experience levels welcome).
  • Strong collaboration and work ethic, with a love for working with children.
  • Qualified references.
