Capital Camps & Retreat Center (CCRC) is seeking a creative, mission-driven Summer Videographer to capture and tell the story of our camp community. The role documents the energy, joy, Jewish identity-building, friendships, traditions, and transformational experiences at Capital Camps & Retreat Center. The Summer Videographer will work closely with the Development & Campaign Strategy team to create short-form and long-form video content for families, alumni, donors, social media, fundraising campaigns, and year-round marketing initiatives, and help build a growing archive of video and storytelling assets.
Key Responsibilities – Video Production & Storytelling:
- Capture high-quality video of daily camp life, special events, Shabbat, waterfront, arts, athletics, Israel programming, staff culture, and traditions
- Create engaging short-form videos for social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts)
- Produce recap and highlight videos
- Capture B-roll for future campaigns
- Conduct occasional informal interviews
- Assist in developing visual storytelling concepts aligned with CCRC priorities
- Reports to the Director of Campaign Strategy & Philanthropy
Editing & Content Management:
- Edit on tight timelines
- Organize and maintain footage libraries
- Collaborate on branding and messaging
- Ensure content reflects CCRC values and mission
- Prepare footage/assets for year-round use

Qualifications:
- Experience filming and editing
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and Canva
- Experience creating social media video content preferred
- Strong storytelling instincts
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Positive attitude, flexibility, creativity, strong interpersonal skills
- Prior camp experience preferred
- Familiarity with Jewish camp culture a plus
- Portfolio or examples of previous work required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary $2,500–$4,500 for full summer, commensurate with experience; meals and housing provided while on-site in Waynesboro, PA.
Summer Dates:
- Camp Session Dates June 21–August 9
- Full summer availability preferred
Location:
- Hybrid with 3–4 days/week onsite at Waynesboro, PA
