Job summary

Green Chimneys in Brewster, NY is seeking temporary-seasonal camp staff to lead activities for children aged 4-14. You will run sessions in arts and crafts, music, sports, or your specialty, guiding groups of 14–16 campers and ensuring a safe, engaging experience during the activity period.

Candidates should be able to plan 9 weeks of activities, complete one week of training, be at least 18, and bring energy, outdoor skills, and a willingness to learn from diverse cultures.

Energy andenthusiasm for long days, a desire to work with children outdoors, priorexperience working with children, teens or adults in similar setting, outdoorliving skills and/or environmental background, ability to accept guidance andsupervision, and a willingness to work with and learn from people fromdifferent cultures and backgrounds are all essential skills for this position.

Salary: Starting rate of $75 - $85 per day

• International applicants’ salary is basedon sponsoring agencies pocket money agreement and/or experience. Stipend rangebetween $1200 - $2700 for the summer season. Room and board is also provided tointernational staff for the duration of the season.
