Job summary

The City of Richland Hills is seeking a Recreation Program Supervisor to plan and direct summer camp and out-of-school activities, supervise staff, and ensure excellent service for members and residents. You will manage enrollments, rentals, and program information, while maintaining safety and city standards.

You will engage with families, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and coordinate with management on operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in person-to-person customer service, cash handling and/or recreational or related experience.
• Prefer two years of college education with the field of childcare, recreation or related field and some supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and direct day-to-day operations and long-term planning for a school-age childcare program. Translate standards into programmatic outcomes.
• Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate instructors, staff, and volunteers for childcare.
• Assist with room setup/cleanup and coordinating rentals or events with renters.
